Prices, Currency and VAT

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. VAT will not be added to the displayed product price at checkout.

Delivery is charged separately at £500, including VAT. The delivery charge and total amount payable will be shown before you place your order or make payment.

Any optional services and their charges will be explained and agreed with you before they are added to your order.

Accepted Payment Method

We accept UK bank transfer only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, cash, cheques or other digital wallets.

Ordering and Invoices

You can place an order through our website or contact us to discuss your requirements and request a quotation.

Before proceeding, review the container specification, condition, availability, delivery arrangements and total price. Your order confirmation or invoice will provide the bank details and payment reference to use.

Any payment deadline or agreed payment schedule will be stated on your invoice.

Making Payment

When paying by bank transfer:

  • Check your order details and the total amount payable.
  • Use the bank details provided with your order confirmation or invoice.
  • Pay the stated amount in pounds sterling.
  • Include your order or invoice number as the payment reference.
  • Email your payment remittance to sales@containersyard.com to help us identify your payment.

Your bank may apply its own transfer charges. These are separate from our prices.

Payment Confirmation and Dispatch

Payment is confirmed once cleared funds have reached our account and have been matched to your order. A transfer receipt alone does not confirm that we have received the funds.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, handling and preparation begin after payment has cleared and the order specification and delivery details have been confirmed.

Estimated handling and transit times are explained in our Shipping Policy. A payment receipt does not, by itself, confirm a particular delivery date.

Incorrect Payments

If you pay an incorrect amount or omit your payment reference, contact us promptly with your order reference, payment date and amount transferred.

We will check the payment and explain any steps needed to resolve the issue. Please do not send a duplicate payment without contacting us first.

Checking Bank Details

If you receive unexpected bank details or a request to pay a different account, call 07459 878425 to verify the instructions before transferring funds.

Never send us your online banking password, PIN or security codes.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Approved refunds are normally made by bank transfer to the account used for the original payment, unless another arrangement is expressly agreed. Refunds are issued within the applicable 10-calendar-day period described in that policy.

Nothing in this payment policy limits your statutory rights.
